I'm trying to keep my head above water and find the time to flex my art degree. I have always been fascinated with abstract imagery. When I was a little girl in elementary school, I was obsessed with modern art and architecture. I got my first camera at age 9, and began doing serious photography at 13. In University at UCSD, and later SF STATE, I explored performance and film but photography will always have my heart. I started painting seriously in 2005. I enjoy the tactile experience and getting away from the computer. Lately, I’ve explored landscape painting, which I never thought I would, but I find it so enjoyable. Looking at landscape and expressionist work has led me to new ideas and ways of working. Most of my paintings are small, 6-8”sq. Enjoy!
